Effective 1 April 2009, Chris Morgan will take over the position of CEO Monier Roofing South Africa. He succeeds Henrique Lepecki, who returns to Brazil after two years at the helm of the company.

Chris Morgan joined Monier UK in 1999 as Operations Director. In May 2002 he was appointed CEO of Monier UK and Ireland. Says Chris Morgan: “I am thrilled at this appointment to South Africa. Monier Roofing SA is a strong business with a first rate product line-up and a solid national footprint. I look forward to applying the knowledge I gained in the UK to help steer the company through the challenging market environment we are experiencing, and further consolidating our market leadership position here in South Africa. I thank Henrique for the many structural changes he made during his stay here and wish him well on his return to Brazil”.
